# Assets | WEB | Parenting Assets

### **Re-Parenting Assets**

This enhancement enables changing the parent of an asset.

 

#### **Update the Parent of an Asset**

Open the Asset --> Details Tab

- Click Location (far right between Codes and Details)

Parent Asset is shown - as per screenshot below

- If need to update click Edit
- Update Parent Asset
- Save
- Confirmation message will show if success

#### **Change the Parent of Multiple Assets using the Bulk Action**

List of Assets Page --> Click Select Action

- Select - Change Parent
- Select Assets to change
- Click Apply
- Confirm Yes or No
- Success message will confirm
