# Custom Connection | Xero | Handy Hints

### Collaborate Xero Admin to SpyderFlow Administrator

- Collaboration with the SpyderFlow Administrator is recommended as to make changes can require configurations in both Xero and SpyderFlow.
- Also, the SpyderFlow Administrator is recommended to collaborate with the Xero Administrator for same reason.
- Unless the same person is both Xero and SpyderFlow Administrator then that person can do both roles and configurations.

#### Set up between Xero and SpyderFlow

- Follow processes from [Custom Connection | Xero | Overview](https://spydertech.net.au/docs/custom-connection-xero-overview/).
- This will outline from purchase a subscription through to each step needed for setting up custom connection (Xero to SpyderFlow).

#### Work Orders and Purchase Orders reference format in Xero

- WO invoicing will show by IW reference.
- PO will show by ref number given and trade name etc.

#### Email Out of Invoices

To email from Xero

- Xero can bulk email – Select all and send to email.

#### Xero Limits – When Approving Invoices from SpyderFlow

- No more than 5 at the same time
- Minute Limit: 60 calls in a rolling 60 second window.
- Daily Limit: 5000 calls in a rolling 24-hour window

#### Xero limit issues and fixes

- Invoices can show as failed and need to be reprocessed or cancelled.
- If issues occur collaborate with SpyderFlow administrator to check Incoming and Outgoing Events, to reprocess or cancel invoices.
