# Web | Edit an Event

## Edit Details

1. Go to **Main Menu** > **Calendar**** ![](https://spydertech.net.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Icon-Round-Scheduler.png)**
2. Select an existing **Event** in the calendar
3. Edit the Event details as required
4. Select **SAVE**

## Update Event Dates Using Drag & Drop

1. Go to **Main Menu** > **Calendar**** ![](https://spydertech.net.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Icon-Round-Scheduler.png)**
2. Update the dates of an Event with any of the below options
3. Select **YES**

**Drag & Drop to a New Slot**

This updates both ***From***and ***To** d*ates simultaneously

**Drag to Extend**

This updates the ***From***or ***To***date depending on which end of the Event is extended

- **Drag & Drop to a new slot** is disabled in the Month view and the all-day row in the Week view
- **Drag to extend** is disabled for the time rows in the Week view
