Custom Connection Xero and SpyderFlow
- SpyderFlow Administrator turns on Xero integration in SpyderFlow.
- Xero Administrator and SpyderFlow work together to pass information from Xero to SpyderFlow for Webhook, Client ID and Secret key.
Xero Checklist
- Purchase of Custom Connection Subscription, then add New App.
- Add Accounting Scopes to New App.
- Authorise and Accept by email and MFA.
- Allow access to SpyderFlow, Generate Xero Client ID and Secret key.
- Find and pass on: Xero Client ID and Secret key
- Enter Webhook URL from SpyderFlow to Xero.
- Find relevant Tax Codes to pass to SpyderFlow Administrator.
SpyderFlow Checklist
- Create New Integration Module with Xero see link System Interface | Integration Modules | Create New
- Receive and input Xero Client ID, Secret Key, Accounting Scopes, Tax Codes
- Copy and pass Webhook URL to Xero Admin.
- Check the connection is successful (between Xero and SpyderFlow for both directions)

- SpyderFlow Administrator –> Check in SpyderFlow the connection is successful to Xero.
- Xero Admin –> Give relevant Tax codes from Xero Admin.
- SpyderFlow Administrator –> Add Tax Codes to SpyderFlow.
