Invoice Receivables are money owed to you (your company/organisation)
In SpyderFlow these start with IW.
Located: Main Menu –> Invoices –> Receivables
List of Receivable Invoices
As your organisation flows from orders to invoices these become Receivable Invoices
Or can be created from this page as +Create New (to create a new Receivable Invoice)
Like other List of pages:
- Select Action (Bulk Action) dropdown is available. User can in bulk select actions on listed invoices for: Approve, Cancel, Hold, Release, Void, Paid.
- Select List Columns – Customise your column view
- +Create New – Create New Receivable Invoice
- Search – Search list of Receivable Invoices
- Clear Filters, Search, Sort – Clear any of the previously chosen options.
- Export – Export Receivable Invoices entries

Receivable Invoice
A Receivable invoice can be created by an Order ‘Flow To’ invoice process or by +Create New and fill out the details
+Create New
– Add/Check Details for the invoice
- Scope, Quote, Order, SRQ – Start typing to link a scope, quote, order or service request
- Reference # – type if you have a reference number for the invoice to be associated to.
- Work Address – Type to add or this may be pre added if linked to scope, quote, order or service request.
- Due – Select Date due
- Client details – if not prefilled from previous steps, select Contact from drop down. The address details will fill with the Contact details.
- Company – Select company or this may be prefilled
- Category – Select category or this may be prefilled
- Comments – Type any comments for the invoice
- Tax Code – Check this is prefilled or select from drop down.
- Tax Rate – Will be set when Tax code is chosen
- Dates – This will set as the invoice is created, approved, issued, exported, paid.
- Invoice Details – Invoice Type (see examples below) and Invoice $ (incl tax)
- Adhoc Amount
- Full Payment
- Part Payment
- Flags – Select any flags associated to the invoice.
- Click Save & Continue

Example Invoice with Test item
Item is created on invoice with details below. This is from entering basic details in the +Create New window.
- Default view of the item shows Comments and Receivable $
- To edit click pencil icon (far right on item)
- To expand view of item details click to expand at ‘< ‘ arrow (far right of the item).
- If want to delete an item: Click to expand and you will get more options (Delete, Edit, Back).
- Select Delete.
- Confirm Delete message will ask “Do you want to delete this item?” Click yes or no option.
To add more in items click +ADD and fill fields and Save.
Note! On items check correct Tax Code is shown. If a default is set this will be prefilled. Otherwise enter dropdown for Tax Code.

Receivable Invoice Tabs
- Items – Items listed can be sorted and filtered
- Click +Add to add additional items
- Click pencil icon to quick edit item
- Click < to expand item
- Details – Expand for more information on the item
- Contacts – +Add contact details in regards to the invoice
- Related – Flow/History tabs inside of Related. Both include related work flows (orders, properties, assets, scopes, quotes)
- Events – Show All/Show Active includes Reference of the flow of events to the invoice. For example Ref # Work Order to Invoice IW – Contact – Status – Amounts etc.
- Payments – Payments to invoice
- Issues – Issues will be listed and you can filter or sort. Dot will appear next to Issues tab if need to review.
- Notes – +Add by Comment, Category, Alert type, Status, Created and Created by.
- Attachments – +Add by Type, Title, Reference, Status, Created, Created by.
- Activity – Listed activity of invoice of Show All/Show Actions. Detailed view of invoice history.
Approve Invoices
Once Invoice details and items are added the user can Approve the invoice
Approve is located at the top mid right on Receivable Invoice Screen.
Validation message will appear – Confirm Approve
Check details on the message and if correct click Yes
If incorrect click No and go back to recheck invoice details.

When approved the invoice will change from Created to Issued status
The email is then sent to your default email set in SpyderFlow for Receivable invoices.
A copy is also available in Attachments tab of the invoice.
