Service Requests in the SpyderFlow Mobile App!
The Service Request Module is a streamlined solution for submitting, managing, and tracking external requests or issues within SpyderFlow, enhancing transparency, collaboration, and efficiency between external users and internal teams.
Service Request Status Definitions:
- Created: Service Request has been created
- Issued: Service Request is ready for triage
- Accepted: All requests are accepted
- Rejected: At least one request is declined
- Closed: All activities on Service Request are complete
- Cancelled: The Service Request is invalid

List of Service Requests
- Home Screen –> Click Requests –> List of Service Requests
- Click the + button to add new Service Request –> Opens into Details page to fill fields
- Sort and filter Service Request List
- Search a Service Request from List
Tap and Select each Service Request or Tap and Hold for Options to Bulk Select
- Tap will Select the individual Service Request to view, add to or edit/modify.
- Tap and Hold will show Options and the ability to select multiple records to cancel (if required)

To Add a New Service Request
Click floating ‘+’ from List of Service Requests
Opens into Create New window. Fill out fields as required by your organisation business process. Some fields may be pre-filled:
- Property or Asset
- Type
- Scheduled Start
- Due
- Reported by
- Reported by Ph
- Contact Name
- Contact Ph
- Reference
- Comments
- Flags
- Company
- Client
- Area
- Category
- SRQ Owner
- Inspector
- Inspector Ph
- Rate Group
- Click Save when complete
- Service Request will open into data focus window to add Requests, Details, Attachments, Notes
- Default will be Requests tab and floating arrow at bottom of screen. This arrow will open the Requests Menu

Requests Tab
Check Request tab is selected at top of screen. Request –> Data focus Screen –> Requests
Click Floating Arrow at bottom of Request tab screen
Menu opens: Add Request, Exit, Review, Submit
Click + Add Request
Fill in fields: Problem, Location, Qty, UOM, Instructions, (as per your organisation business process)
Click Save & Add to add further requests or Save & Done when complete
Requests in summarized format will show on data focus screen in list format.
- Click back in to Request if need to add attachments to the request (this option appears after request is saved and request is selected from the list page to add to/edit).
Details Tab
Second Tab from left (Details) shows the grouped information in Request in tiled layout with clickable View to edit (as permissible by your organisation after Request is created).

Attachments Tab
Third tab from left is Attachments
Attachments when added can be searched, sorted and filtered
To Add an Attachment
- Click floating ‘+’ to add.
- Fill in fields: Attachment type, Title, Attachment Status, Select if the attachment ‘Can be Viewed by External Users?’
- Each attachment will open into its own data focus page with tabs: Photos, Documents, Details.
- Photos and Documents tabs will have associated floating ‘+’ to move to the next menu choice to select from: Take a new photo, Choose a photo, Choose a file.
- Attachment details tab will be in tiled layout with clickable View option to add or modify as permissible by your organisation the attachment details.
Once attachment adding is complete, the title of the attachment will show in list format on data focus page under Attachment tab.
- Click to modify or add as required.
- Save when complete.
The example below shows an attachment has been added but ‘0’ photos, documents or files are uploaded with the attachment.

Notes Tab
Last (fourth) tab from left is Notes
- Notes when added can be searched, sorted and filtered.
- Like attachments you can select if notes ‘Can be visible to External Users’ as they are added
- Notes are also added by the floating +
- Once click + the user is taken to new note form to fill out: Category, Alert Type, Comments, Status, Can be Viewed by External Users?
Note will be listed on data focus page under Notes tab and can be selected to edit (as permissible by user organisation).

Selected Service Request
Select individual Service Requests to view, add to or modify from the List of Service Requests.
See details across the top of what the Service Request is created for.
- This could be for a property and show address across the top, or for an asset with Asset name etc.
Under the address or name, will be the tabs: Requests, Details, Attachments, Notes.
See above how each of these tabs work. Once a request is created it can be added to or edited until complete.
- Requests are the problems/issues (Requests)
- Details is the information
- Attachments are files, photos, documents
- Notes are additional information relevant to the Service Request
Arrow at bottom of screen opens into: Add Request, Exit, Review, Submit

Add Request: Click to add further Requests
Exit: Return to List of Service Requests
Review: Review the request and tick if completed/accepted, choose x to decline.
Submit: Send changes to client or subscriber
